The character of this Da Hong Pao Rou Gui is very good, a very fine-made tea. It is charcoal baked after the ancient method, and has full fragrance of dry tea. The crispy tight looking strips are durable for brewing and last aroma forever. It can be brew more than 8 steeps. Sweet and mellow tea without any astringency contains natural floral and fruit taste that linger between throat and tongue with a touch of sweetness. This dark orange amber color liquor tea is from a well-cared eco tea plantation in Wuyi Mountain. The whole processes from planting to processing are supervised by the experienced tea masters to ensure the quality of tea.

Porcelain tea set or Yixing clay pot is recommended for Da Hong Pao tea brewing. Adjust water temperature, steeping time or amount of tea leaves for personal taste.

Ratio of oolong tea and water: 1g:30ml (depending on personal taste)

Rinse the tea wares by hot boiling water.

Use a teaspoon to move an appropriate amount of tea leaves (7-8 grams) into the tea pot.

Pour boiling water straight into tea pot to rinse tea leaves.

Discard the tea liquor.

Pour hot boiling water into the tea pot again.

Covered with lid ~1 min. for first infusion.

Pour into fair cup to share.

*Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
